Windsurfing is not a matter of age – everybody can learn it – whether kid or old-timer
Elementary courses
After only 10 lessons you rush over the water ! Perplexed? We are not! Excellent teaching aids, and methods of our VDWS-instructors guarantee a quick learning success. You are trained in small groups at a soft breeze in stand-deep waters. The sandy bottom is ideal especially for children’s training. Suitable equipment for children is always available. From 7 years on, everybody can easily learn windsurfing. The course is concluded by the internationally valid elementary VDWS certificate. (Verein Deutscher Wassersport Schulen – Association of German water sports schools.)

Leisure-time activities in Zislow and its environs – or what you can do except for riding..

Not only the lake Plauer See with its excellent water quality ( tested by the ADAC: blue point = very good water quality) offers diversification, but also untouched nature invites to walks or bike trips. An interesting destination is the near isle of the kingfishers in Bad Stuer – but you have to be patient in order to see one of the rare birds. More amusing, however, is a visit to the small, but quite historic towns like Plau am See, Malchow and Waren.

Advanced training course

You surfed a long time ago? No problem! Within only 4 lessons, go and see for yourself that enjoyable surfing is no witchcraft. The new generation of boards and sails guarantees quickly learnable manoeuvres. Beach start, Trapeze surfing, looping, gliding and rudder open new spheres of ideas. We see to it that the new joy of surfing does not become frustration.

the lakes are mere recovery

If you want to discover remoter destinations - Güstrow and Schwerin with its beautiful castles should not be left out. Rostock, which can be reached very fast by the A 19, is worth doing an all-day trip because it is an old Hanseatic town and situated right by the Baltic sea . On the eastern shores of the lake Müritz , about 30 km away, there is the Müritz national park, which is an attractive all-season destination. It is particularly famous in autumn when thousands of cranes take a rest there. The most wonderful aspect about Zislow and its environs, however, is the extraordinary peace you can find here.

Now you could think that the peace of the nature is somehow neglected, but you couldn’t be more wrong – all that is spread over the large area of the lake Plauer See and some lakes in the vicinity, so that you sometimes feel like the first human being in this beautiful nature.

The beach with its shallow shore is suitable for children and invites young and adult people to go swimming. .Whether you go for a boat trip on the lake, frequent a sailing-school or a surfing club or go sight-seeing – in and around Zislow you can practise recreational activities for nearly every liking.
